Bezuayehu (Zoey) Kromm, is the recipient of a $1,000 LYD Award. Initially trained and working as a cosmetologist, she is enrolled in Peninsula College Addiction Studies Program planning a career in addiction counseling and therapy. Kromm is the mother of one daughter.

Kristal Holladay was awarded a $1,000 LYD Award. The Peninsula College student is enrolled in the welding program and plans to pursue a career at the Bremerton Shipyard. Holladay is the mother of one son. Holladay will complete her degree in December 2024.
